Correct!
The DNR website (September, 2000) lists
42 endangered species and 39 threatened
species.  "Endangered" means that scientists
believe a species may soon disappear from Michigan.
"Threatened" means a species that may become
endangered.  Additionally, the DNR lists another
151 species that should be watched and need more
data.  Lastly, there are 10 species (mostly fish)
that can no longer be found in Michigan.
